Friends of Slamannan 

'Friends of Slamannan' is a group of school parents and carers, who meet together to organise a variety of different fun, social events, with the aim of raising funds to provide additional extras that the school budget does not allow for.

Our meetings are held in the school and everyone is welcome. 

The main aims of this group are:

• To support the school in its work with pupils.
• To represent the views of parents.
• To promote contact between the school, parents, pupils, providers of nursery education and the community.
• To raise funds for the school for the benefit of pupils.

They organise numerous events throughout the school year including discos, fayres and fun days.This group also contribute towards school trips and other events throughout the year to benefit our children and families.

The group would welcome any new parents at their meetings.

We have two further ways to raise vital funds for the school – for free!

• The first is easyfundraising. This is a simple way to raise money for the school and it doesn’t cost anything.
• We also have a Rag Bag bin installed at the school for all your unwanted wearable clothing, paired shoes, handbags and belts (please, NO bedding or towels). We will get paid for every kg recycled!
